2026-01-18 22:48:15 +0000 UTCI've been a diehard Silent Hill fan for 25 years, so I had a lot of mixed feelings about this movie. They changed a lot with the lore of how Silent Hill became what it is and what happened to Alessa (the whole witch stuff is not in the games and Rose is also not a character. In the first game, you play as a single father named Harry Mason). But they also completely nailed the atmosphere and visuals. The first third of the movie really does feel like playing a Silent Hill game. I also loved that they used music from the games through the whole film.
