Lord of War. That's the movie John was asking about where we follow the bullet from production all the way through it's life. Very good movie.

2026-01-03 03:47:20 +0000 UTCYeah, it becomes a bit of a caricature of itself in 3 - if that's good or not depends what you're looking for really, I enjoy it, you don't really hear people _complain_ about 3 too much. It's definitely the comfort food of the franchise - it's a stupid movie, if you really think about it, but I also don't think it's pretending to be anything else so that's okay. The villain, by the way, is an English actor who, fun fact, plays the doctor in Hot Fuzz, which is clearly at least partially referential casting. Bring on part 4 indeed.
