I never understood the hate between amy and henry i think their chemistry is A + maybe not ++ buy definitely one + lol. I just like how caring she is you can see it in her eyes the “your my world scene” gets me EVERYTIME and i love just there wanting to understand each other in man of steel in Justice League i can see where they maybe were drifted and stuff but man even the tub scene?! So good!

2025-11-22 01:52:10 +0000 UTCThe Ultimate Edition does a better job of trying to make this godawful plot work, but nothing can save us from Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor. Apparently someone had one job and failed to do it- tell Eisenberg that he was playing Lex Luthor, not Elon Musk. He did some horrible things, but absolutely NOBODY was intimidated by him, nor should they have been. He had the arrogance and alien-hating part right, but people are supposed to be terrified of Luthor, not amused by him. Horrible casting choice. I regret that with the DECU discontinued that there will never be a Batfleck solo movie and that Jason Momoa isn't going to continue as Aquaman, but it's worth it to have a better Lex Luthor going forward (I'm looking at you Nicholas Hoult- great job!). Wasting Jimmy Olsen as a one-off "man to be whacked" character? Another bad choice. That and Eisenberg as Luthor are right up there with Fox Marvel's first interpretation of Deadpool in X-Men Origins: Wolverine I like Ben Affleck's Batman and Henry Cavill's Superman. Gal Gadot carried this movie- I like her as Diana the Mystery Woman Who Stole Bruce's Toy and as Wonder Woman- she's a better actress than people give her credit for. The action sequences were amazing, but cramming two maybe three separate movie plots into one movie was not a good idea. The title says Superman meets and fights Batman, not Doomsday/Death Of Superman or Darkseid is coming soon. That Flash from the future cameo would have worked far better as a mid or post credits scene. In either edition it just confuses the hell out of most viewers. I like this movie a bit better than the first 2 times I watched it, but only due to the Ultimate Edition giving more details. It's still hard to watch, but your reaction made it more palatable (only the Rejects could get me to stomach Eisenberg Luthor again :-) ).
