A Message for Andrew & His Family

As many of you know, Andrew’s dad had been in the hospital these past few weeks. He only came in when he felt comfortable, and we were so grateful that even during such a difficult time he still wanted to be with us. A few days ago, Andrew and his family had to say goodbye to their father, Earl.
I had countless conversations with Earl over the years. He truly was Andrew’s best friend — whenever I invited Andrew to a screening, his first question was always if his dad could come. To this day, he's the only person I know over the years who would only wish to bring his dad along.
After nearly a month in the ICU, the family is now facing unexpected expenses. They’ve launched a GoFundMe, and if you’re in a position to contribute, any amount would mean a lot. If not, no worries at all — even your kind words and prayers go a long way.

I take comfort in the fact I was able to spend time with him, like you did before he passed. I also know he is now with my mother who he loved dearly. Remember we are all here for you and your father will still always be there for you too. <3
