WEDNESDAY Season 2, Episodes 3 & 4 - WATCH ALONG!!

Comments

I definitely liked the second season more so far than the first one. I especially don't miss the love triangle. Also you guys seem to be weirdly negative.

Rime Pendragon

I think it makes it look worst because when Aaron decides he doesn't like something he just goes all in, I've had to stop other watch alongs literally because he was ruining it. I find he just latches on to what other people are saying rather than adding really anything. He puts on such a grumpy face when he has decided he doesn't like it. its too bad. Im not even trying to argue the show is good or anything its just frustrating when its the reactor ruining it and not the show

My opinion on the reaction experience. I've watched your stuff for a couple years now but episode 3 was the first time I've had to turn off your full length watch-a-long to continue to enjoy the episode. As soon as Greg decided he didn't like it in the middle of the episode it felt a switch clicked in John and Arron that was like, alright, time to 3 way hate enough. This felt like it became more about trying to either predict the story-lines or characters. The talking about shots being weird, or ramp up speed stuff is fun and all but where you see some kind of artistic issue with it I as a viewer only see a sword fight I'm enjoying. You say "Do a oner" I say not every fight has to be John Wick. I don't know, it just felt like you guys started leaking negative energy and decided that "something was missing." and I just don't agree. Just wanted to share my opinion of the experience because I know you guys like to get feedback. I generally mesh with you guys, except for a couple times and I like to share when I do in case it matters somehow. I'll switch to BlindWave for first time watch and switch you guys to the reaction highlights. I'm not unsubing or anything by the way, still love you guys, just not meshing with this reaction team this time. I just happened to really be enjoying this and don't want the negativity to bring me down and watching stuff with Blindwave is like watching with 3-4 kids who are just in awe and feel like they are genuinely enjoying themselves, which just makes me feel better, which is what I need in my life right now. Thanks for all you do though, you guys are by far my favorite reaction channel with how hard you work your butts off getting us content. I'll give episode 4 with you guys a watch later, hopefully it was just my mood. Sorry if it sounded whiny, I just genuinely wanted to share my feelings on the matter.

Agree with John. If the first 3 episodes were the first 3 of season 1, idk if I'd have finished it. More based on 2 & 3, finally felt like same show and now gotta wait.

I think the grandma is the blonde evil lady from Casper.

1 & 4 were definitely the best episodes. I think the real problem for me is the lack of emotional depth and sense of urgency with Enid. It’s not the performances, it’s in the story. The tension just isn’t there. Emma Myers was a standout of season 1, but her character isn’t as prominent. Greg said it best, “manufactured drama”. This part pains me. As much as I enjoy Catherine Zeta-Jones and Luis Guzman, I’m not a fan of their casting. The chemistry is lacking. It was fine in season 1 because we didn’t see them much. Having them in all 4 episodes of this season shines a light on the the problem. Individually they are fine, but the Morticia & Gomez relationship is a character in itself. That character is missing (especially compared to Angelica Huston/Raul Julia. Unfair, but true) It’s very distracting. Still, I’m enjoying this season. Jenna Ortega is perfect as Wednesday. She truly commands every scene she is in. I’m hoping for more Fred Armisen. Great reaction and analysis, as always. Thank you gentlemen
