A true comic film to enjoy over and over

2025-09-10 21:52:28 +0000 UTCI dig the 2018 Aquaman, it's very "live action" anime in production designs, costumes, camera movements in the action set pieces. With big loud declarations & proclamations by the characters before doing something lol. The synthy score by Gregson-Williams is good too - love the use of Iceland's popular post-rock band Sigur Rose track "Saeglopur" in the flashback of Arthur's parents story (which is also used in Snyder's Justice League and the Wachowski's underrated Netflix series Sense8). Aquaman's final sea battle is a big colorful *UNDER-waterpark of explosive action π€ππ§ββοΈπ§ββοΈ
