This was a good adaptation, especially when you consider that they starred the Tomorrowverse knowing they wouldn't have time to build it as they did the DCAMU. They had to rush through in order to get to the Crisis trilogy and end it so that the Gunnaverse can get started. Adam Strange found his daughter Aleea between Green Lantern: Beware My Power and this trilogy. We missed 70 years worth of Justice Society (and probably Infinity Inc.) development that they never had time to do. It was good seeing Earth-2 Robin and Huntress, the JSA members from their movie and others like Wildcat, Starman (Ted Knight version), Jade, Obsidian and Dr. Midnight from Infinity Inc. I absolutely LOVED seeing what Constantine sent Flash to do at the end of Justice League Dark Apokolips War and that it did more than just create the Tomorrowverse. Killing Darkseid created the multiverse and caused worse problems than the previous world faced. No wonder Constantine got tortured by the universe for thousands of years- he really screwed up. Character you didn't recognize: Mummy Girl is Valentina Vostok, Negative Woman of the new Doom Patrol. She inherited the negative energy being from Negative Man of the original Patrol. She shared the screen vainly defending Earth-2 with Booster Gold, Captain Comet, Starman (Prince Gavyn), Star Sapphire, Starfire, Red Star, Uncle Marvel (clearly from a world where he actually has powers instead of being just an old fart in a homemade Shazam costume) and three other folks I didn't recognize. Those dinosaur-herding military men you didn't know were The Losers. If you'd watched the House of Mystery series of shorts with Constantine and others that so many of us suggested, you'd have seen them, Kamandi, Blue Beetle and of course Constantine in short stories that lead directly into this trilogy. Watching suggestions: Batman and Harley Quinn (hilarious!). Batman and Superman: Super Sons. Catwoman: Hunted. Batman: Soul Of The Dragon. Those last three (plus Super Pets and Injustice, which you already watched) came out during the Tomorrowverse as standalone Elseworlds.

Would have been in poor taste. Kamandi was an interesting choice to add. He was a Jack Kirby creation during the height of the popularity of Planet of the Apes. I also really love tying this all back to JL Dark Apokalips Warβ¦ There is one short film you missed with John Constantine that reveals where heβs been and really sets this up.
