if these two do not do Dear Evan Hansen or Tick Tick Boom, I might implode, perfect for the train of semiautobiographical musicals as well as live action movie musicals these two are on

There is a cut scene between the funeral & Roger driving to Santa Fe. We learn Benny paid for Angel’s funeral. Mark confronts Roger about he could let Mimi go & running from his pain. Roger calls Mark out for being a passive observer in his life because the “poor baby” has to survive & watch all his friends die. Roger acknowledges Mimi looks sick. Mimi overhears & tells Roger he doesn’t want to watch her die, so she came to say “Goodbye Love.” Then she breaks down & says she needs to go, Mark suggests rehab & Benny says he’ll pay. She agrees, but in private sings “Goodbye Love, hello disease.” She gives up. The 525,600 minutes were never about Angel. He dies at Halloween, not a full year. It was always about Mimi.

I love that you guys loved Rosario Dawson’s performance. While she wasn’t in the OBC, this story is close to her actual life. Her mother was an artist & Rosario grew up as a squatter in a loft in Alphabet City, NY. NYC apartments are NOT this large, but this area/set are lofts made our closed textile warehouses in Alphabet City. The 80s & 90s they were filled with squatters & now are converted into multimillion dollar boho lofts. (Yay gentrification!)
