2025-06-10 12:58:01 +0000 UTCOh man. PLEASE keep the Wes Anderson films coming. There are SO many good ones which are absolute classics. I can't even choose a top 5. Maybe... this one.. Rushmore, Life Aquatic, Moonrise Kingdom, Fantastic Mr Fox... maybe those would be it? But that's ignoring The Royal Tenenbaums (and Gene Hackman's golden globe performance!), and all the other ones which are very awesome. Even Bottle Rocket, his first movie that he made with the Wilson brothers, and the least "Wes Anderson" vibe-y of them all, is so charming and goofy. There's a reason basically every film he does gets a Criterion release! I can't watch along tonight with you guys, but I'm so excited to sit down tomorrow night after work for a relaxing Sunday evening with the Jew Crew (I'm Ashkenazi by heritage, so.. go us!).
