2025-05-31 17:29:56 +0000 UTCIf you guys want to see another Tom Cruise movie where he plays a more dramatic role, you should react to Rain Man. It's another 80s classic. Dustin Hoffman stars alongside Tom, and I have to say, in that movie, Dustin's acting chops easily match Tom's. In particular, the physical acting in his performance is amazing. With Rain Man, though, you have to go in remembering that it is the 80s, and people's knowledge of certain... things... was different back then. If you keep that in mind, you'll love it.

Both the pop song soundtrack (which features the amazing "Last Note of Freedom" sung by David Coverdale of Whitesnake) and also the electric-guitar fueled Hans Zimmer score. La-La Land Records finally released the full instrumental score a few years ago. I recommend people listen to that if they need to feel pumped up.
