You guys made me think about Bix's character more. While some of what she went through could be considered cliche, it was done in a refreshing way. She is the archetypal "tough girl" on the outside, she's a mechanic who has no time for romance, but when it comes to the trauma that the empire inflicts, she is just a soft girl reaching hopefully for her soft girl era. She's not the character to go through the worst and turn out a stoic independent bad ass like Cinta or Kleya. She's a woman who has had the worst things happen to her, but the fear and pain she portrays is realistic and grounded as the rest of the show. The scary things are really scary for her. The painful things are really painful for her. And she handles it like any human would, desperately trying to relieve herself and cope so she can be seen as useful to the world/Alliance, or to Luthen at least. Pleading with Andor to make everything she's going through worth it, "we have to win". She may be able to save herself in a few dire situations, but it's also clear in the show she needs Cassian to save her and help her. I think they did a great job at writing her character.

I believe Cyril and Derdra are in love, it's just that neither know how to truly express it, nor accept it.

I think its smart for the 10 year of rogue next year to re release these as a lead up. Man this felt so much like the finale i didnt even know we had three more episodes left!!!!!

The weirdest thing about Star Wars is that right after that grounded and sobering escape with Andor, Mon Mothma spends a day with Chopper, Zeb and Ezra.

I don't think Bix is leaving the rebellion FYI, I think she's just leaving Cassian. She can get missions from Luthen, or find somewhere else to fight. She could probably get missions direct from Rebel Command too (Draven etc) but it would have to be someone who would agree not to tell Cassian where she is. Even in the situation where she lays low doing less risky rebel stuff, she could be making the judgement that Cassian being in the rebellion is more important than them both doing it but him being compromised, because she believes he is special and destined for something greater.

I would love to see rogue one and the original trilogy after this series is over!!
