When I was watching the gameplay of Part II, I found the romance between Dina and Ellie kind of sudden and a bit underdeveloped. I was only disappointed in Ellie when she chose revenge over JJ and Dina and sad for Dina and bittersweet about Ellie being left alone at the end of the game. That said, with this series, I’m going to be absolutely devastated for both Ellie and Dina when Ellie leaves.
