2025-04-09 09:26:24 +0000 UTClove this episode so much! Amanda Tapping's directing is wonderful! Steve Yockey wrote some of my favorite episodes from season 12 to season 14. He also created Gaiman's "Dead Boy Detectives" show which was great and deserved more seasons although Netflix unfairly canceled it! can't wait to see how you react to the rest of the season!

The 300th episode is rite there and the finale is nuts with so many great big moments in between!!!

2025-03-26 01:14:28 +0000 UTCAmanda Tapping also play the angel Naomi, as well as directs a number of SPN. the beer Dean mentions at the beginning of the episode, "Comic Cowboy, this great IPA from Texas" is actually from his own brewery 'Family Business Beer'. The monkey used to be in the Roadhouse bar (w/Ellen, Jo & Ash). This episode is so very different from the last (which BTW was based on 'Die Hard' including 'Ode to Joy'), but still fun - if Maggie wasn't in it. I cannot understand why Sam puts so much faith & expectations on her when she wasn't even a Hunter in her world. Why not Bobby, or one of the older Hunters? The actress just drives me nuts with her portrayal. And will Jack using such a large amount of his soul, be affected? If so, how different would a Souless Nephilm be from Souless Sam?

I've seen these episodes many times but you always manage to find something new or explain to me the reason I never knew for why I enjoyed a particular shot or scene so much.

2025-03-10 20:50:15 +0000 UTCYou know why it was such a good episode, because Nick wasn’t in it lol. Love Mark P as Lucifer, but the Nick stuff isn’t my favorite. I agree with you Greg about the coloring during the bar scene especially, so well done. Also, knowing that Dean was going to have to keep Michael in check in his mind, all i could think about was “how is that boy going to sleep?!” I felt like he would not be able to let his mind be anywhere than with keeping Michael in check. I was so ready to see the next episode to see where they were going with this. It was torture having to wait! Also, I would avoid the recap at the beginning since it always ruined the surprise of the episode if there was one. As always, loved your reaction and can’t wait until the next one.
