Speaking of ruining big plot points, there may still be videos of those d-bags screaming about a key moment that happens two films from now (won't spoil it for Tara). As people are in line buying the book on its release date, there's banshee squeals about what happened by those who got access to the leaked book days before. The worst kind of people...

2025-03-20 19:42:23 +0000 UTCLmfao I know you guys watch so many movies that your remembrance of previous movies get all garbled and jumbled up so I understand that but omg that opening monologue trying to figure out what a goblet is absolutely sent me!! I was laughing so hard!! 🤣🤣 because in Chamber of Secrets in transfiguration class they're turning their familiars into "Water Goblets" so that's how I always remembered that as a kid because of Scabbers turning into the fuzzy cup due to Ron's broken wand 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

He was on the train platform in the first movie when Harry first see's him go through the barrier to the Hogwarts train and after the sorting ceremony Harry was asking Percy questions about who Snape was. Percy was the Head Boy of Gryffindor, so anytime the professors or Dumbledore sent the kids to their dorms, Percy was the one gathering all the Gryffindor students together. Also in the second movie when Ron and the twins save Harry from being locked in his bedroom with the flying car and bring him back to their house, Percy is at the breakfast table when Ron's mother tells their dad that the boys took the car and they all get their Hogwarts letters from their owl who crashes into things.

I mean that when the dialogue starts, the reactors should briefly stop talking and resume only in between the dialogue. To be fair, I did notice Greg and Tara already doing this at certain moments. They just need to do it more consistently.

These movies are jam packed with dialogue that explain why certain things are happening, and important lore. You guys missed some of it because you were talking over it. Please consider pausing the talking whenever there is dialogue going on. But besides this I really loved your reactions to the franchise so far, and can't wait for the next one!

You were talking about something when Hagrid was walking in the forest with Harry to show him the dragons. Hagrid's hair was combed and he was dressed up with a flower on his lapel because he had a date with the tall lady. Harry commented on it, but you didn't hear it. That happens quite often when you discuss a theory or comment on a scene, something in the dialogue is explained, but you miss it and then you wonder why someone said or did something that was explained and you end up missing more. There was an explained reason Fleur didn't complete the under water task and save her sister, but you guys were discussing why she was just standing on the platform in her robe. There is a lot of important information provided in the next movies as we get close to the end and I don't want you guys missing anything.

Interestingly, when it was announced that the actor who played Cedric Diggory was going to play Edward Cullen, a lot of Twilight book fans where very upset and didn't think he could pull it off and of course as soon as the movie came out all those people shut up.

Them effecting you so much that you missed the whole harry potter experience in the theatre which were the best forsure. But getting to see you watch them for the first time is a win for us. Also I love how emotional you got during the cedric and his dad thing, cause same!

Starting with this one, they sort of start replacing all the great character moments with visual spectacle and it kind of annoys me. And the first three movies at least leaned into the mystery aspect of the stories but these last few just sort of move from plot point to plot point without really connecting them. They just straight up reveal Barty Jr. And tell you who he is.

2025-03-09 19:14:38 +0000 UTCI will confirm you read way too much into Hagrid’s hair Mad Eye Moody didn’t turn into hagrid. He just gave him the clue about the dragons so he could tell Harry. You were talking when he said this lol The hair was also mentioned but you missed it as well. It’s just as simple as “Hagrid slicked his hair back to impress the woman he liked”. That’s it. The reason it looks weird is because Hagrid is shown to not be very fashionable or “proper”. Which is why he has a giant ridiculous polka dot tie. That’s all the hair meant Also Percy Weasley was in the first two movies. Maybe even the third. So I’m surprised you were shocked to learn about him in the trivia. What’s new is that Percy isn’t in this movie at all. He wasn’t an estranged brother in the first two books. He was just a very rules follower and uptight He becomes estranged in the books since he works for the ministry and basically abandons his family trying to impress Barry Crouch Senior. But he was in fact in the first two movies so you do know him even if you forgot lol Great reaction!

And he killed his dad because he noticed the tick and would out him. Really enjoying the reactions and look forward to your take on the last 4 (all directed by the same person so the consistency of tone and look will be there the rest of the way.).

He’s my fave of the Weasley kids and they just CUT HIM OUT like he’s nothing. He’s a dragon keeper and supposed to be there for that round of the Tournament to wrangle the dragons! Aarrgghh!
