Love the theory! My own is that he just is someone who grew up when there weren't any Jedi to train him. Without guidance, he just uses his small connection to the Force however he can. - PLD

I don’t think Jude Law is a Jedi, my personal fan theory right now is he is a former Sith, and will be using the dark side of the force, but kids won’t know and believe his is a Jedi until a dark point in the show where he has to protect one of the kids and that darkness comes out that he can’t control and goes a little overboard on someone attacking the kids.
