Jinx is not dead. You can see her use her shimmer ability to escape the blast through the vents. Cait was looking at the blueprints and could see that she could've escaped. I'm pretty sure she was on that blimp at the end. Powder mentioned something about flying or riding on one someday back in season 1.

2024-11-25 00:13:58 +0000 UTCI feel the same way as yall about the last act, episode 7 was perfect for me and I had no notes! The story felt like it deviated a lot from Vi and Jinx in this act and season 2 overall in comparison to season 1. I understand that there was so much to get through and thats really a consequence of the lack of time executives gave them which is why they relied so much on the animation (and the animators did AMAZING) to tell the story, but part of what made season 1 so strong was the relationship between these two sisters and how character driven it was. Still loved the season and it was really enjoyable to watch, but my opinions on Jinx’s ending are really mixed. I wanted to see a mentally traumatized character get a better ending than this with her family. I do think she’s still alive and thats why it makes me even more disappointed that they didn’t go about it a different way while still “breaking the cycle”. I’m literally on both sides of the coin.
