2024-10-13 04:29:27 +0000 UTCI like the movie well enough but the X-Men rallying together for Jean was a bit predictable. I thought that Hans Zimmer score was inspiring (as usual) but I could hear similarities to his "Chevaliers De Sangreal" from "The Da Vinci Code" (2006).

This was more faithful to the comic story- it used the actual Phoenix force instead of making Phoenix her split personality. It could have been better written and the pacing was off at times, but I liked it well enough

2024-10-12 02:10:48 +0000 UTCI didn’t hate this film, but this scene is like just a bunch of good scenes put together and not just a good consistent story throughout the full thing. Say what you want about X-Men Origins Wolverine, but it did have a more coherent story than what this film did.
