A Message From Greg About Broken Links & What PLD can fix!

First off, I just want to say a massive thank you to each and every one of you for being here and supporting us. We truly appreciate it!

We’ve noticed some messages lately about missing Vimeo links for some of our older shows, and I totally get how frustrating that can be. The content is not gone, it's basically a big process we are doing of reuploading to the new site and having to also replace links on current patreon posts.

It’s important to remind everyone, especially those who are new here, about what happened. A while back, we got caught up in what was essentially a massive issue with Vimeo. Like many other reaction channels, we were suddenly faced with the demand to pay an absurdly high five-figure sum, or risk losing all our content. It was a crazy situation, to say the least!

That’s when we decided to create our own website—a place where all our videos could live safely without the threat of another corporation holding our content hostage. Building a website is no small feat, and we’re still in the process of transferring everything over. So, please keep letting us know if you come across any missing links, and we’ll do our best to provide them as quickly as possible.

Most of our shows are already up on the new site, and once everything is complete, we promise to make a big announcement! This has been a huge work in progress and a significant transitional period for us. We just want to ensure that we’re never caught up in a scam or subjected to a massive looming threat like that again.

What this means for me moving forward is a shifting in tasks! I had been concentrating fully on the website...and work on that will continue. Expect RIngs of Power tonight! However, I will in addition be looking to replace Patreon links for the time being. If you want to comment on this post, or send a DM, I will do my best to fix any older links. I know there are quite a few so the more specific you can be the easier for me. (IF you DMed me specific episodes in the past week, I am noting those down to see what I can do so no need to DM those ones again!)
