It would be nice if you guys would watch the extended cuts of movies. Had to re-sync a few times and I think you would have appreciated the extended scenes. Other than that enjoyed watching for the first time with you. You should definitely have Andrew react to In Bruges.

2024-08-26 04:10:33 +0000 UTCSG1 and Atlantis are must see TV. 14(i think) seasons and 2 movies between them. If you've played God of War you'll love SG1 for.. reasons. The actors replacing Russel and Spader in the show are phenomenal. One of them is McGuyver so.. nuff said

Jackson losing his sunglasses when getting dragged did happen, but when the soldiers caught to him one of them had the sunglasses and said here you dropped these and handed them back to him. as for I think this movie wasn't a huge hit is that critics tore it apart. I think back then critics were taking films way to seriously and sadly back then people really listened to critics. I mean it cost about 50mil to make and made about 200mil. in theaters, I still think it was one of the better sci fi films of the 90's and obviously it was good enough to get a few different tv series' based off of it. I have the original Stargate series on Blue Ray it's really good. Its still one of my favorites. I never thought to compare it to Independence Day, two completely different stories. I think Stargate was more creative, I mean ID.. aliens come to earth and its up to humans to ban together and fight them off and win. Not very creative... Stargate I thought was a way more storytelling and the cinematography/imagery etc was much better.
