An absolute classic, definitely one of the best action movies. It's literally just non-stop action and suspense til the end, something that's rare in a well-executed action movie (at least until Fury Road). A fun throwback -- the Workaholics series on Comedy Central had an episode where they parodied Speed, including several gags specific to the movie... but the best is that they got Hawthorne James to reprise his role as the bus driver, who did a great job. Clearly they were fans of the movie.

2025-03-22 03:18:04 +0000 UTCI loved rewatching this! I can’t believe anyone on earth had not seen SPEED. It’s top 10 action. And holds up like day one. The Lake House is SOOO cute. And you should watch it! Their chem and the film plot itself is ❤️🥰
