I appreciate your insights here and YES I hear Dixon is awesome. Considering he's my 2nd favorite character after Rick - it goes back and forth between him & Michonne for me - I'm excited to finally get round to it. But I'm probably gonna cram in Dead City first lol.

2024-03-18 08:03:41 +0000 UTCI agree this is one of the best episodes of this universe. Exceptional acting, writing and direction. In case you don’t know, Danai is a successful playwright so having her write for Michonne and Rick was perfect, especially with an episode which I agree felt like a play. I am terrified though that that was the happy ending and it’ll be pain from now on. I hope not! As for the other spinoffs, I agree that Daryl Dixon was pretty great, giving more depth to DD than we’ve had in years, plus lots of new people and places. Dead City was disappointing and for me added nothing to those characters.
