The Adventures of Tintin (2011) - Movie WATCH ALONG!!

This was so much fun!!!  Made me real curious to learn what the actual strips & comics are like, but suffice it to say this was a lovely & spirited introduction.  Do y'all wish they'd made more Adventures of Tintin movies??

The Adventures of Tintin (2011) - Movie WATCH ALONG!!

One of my favorite animated films ever. Severely underrated and underappreciated. Also surprised that it never got a sequel because it at least broke even and probably made a tiny profit after DVD sales.

there are two movies from my childhood that i remembered as a kid thinking that they looked amazing visually but then never really hearing anything about them. they were this movie and speedracer and after watching both of them again after so long i have to say they still both look amazing and are just fun good movies in general.

Is it just me or are you guys not letting us hear snippets of the movies anymore ??? I’ve noticed that with a couple watchalongs.. I always appreciated that random sound of the movie I’d get on your end. It helps for me to get back in sync in case something happens on my end.. which always happens.. freezing, pausing, etc. Please continue it.

While the comics DEFINITELY have racist depiction problems I would recommend Tintin in America purely for the absolutely excellent satire at the end. I had never seen a more apt burn at a young age as the one pulled off in that comic.

As someone who grew up on these comics this movie is so spot on. The tone, the character designs, the enormous amount of known visuals in the set design and iconography, the liberal use of tnt and chloroform XD. I’ve never seen an adaptation that more perfectly hit at the heart of its source material. I'm glad you had a good time watching

Oh the nostalgia and right on New Year's Eve! I've sadly never seen this movie and didn't even realize it existed which is sad because I used to watch the cartoon when I was little! I saw every episode and I loved every second of it! It was so much fun and always an adventure! I still to this day want a little white wire fox terrier named "Snowy" ❤️❤️
