2023-11-29 02:53:26 +0000 UTCThe change of title: “Spiral” is appropriate. I didn’t like this film, but at least it doesn’t technically have to fit into the Saw franchise. Not a good movie though. No idea what Chris Rock was thinking lol. All of the police corruption stuff could’ve been an interesting angle, but it’s honestly only used as an excuse to let the copycat killer exist. What does it really mean? Nothing. A petty revenge plot we’ve seen done better before. At least the original Saw films had some psychology to it, (however twisted it may have been). 2/5
