Good chapter! Honestly feel like Jon should have taken the chance to claim to be a grandson or descendant of Brynden’s even though he claims to have stark Blood on his father side he could have claimed his mother was a bastard daughter of Brynden’s which would give him a little fav with House Targaryen and probably House Blackwood with Queen Betha and give his word a little weight in the South. And don’t think Bloodraven would have minded him using that claim.

2025-10-14 20:14:16 +0000 UTCThank you, and I enjoy Aemon's POV. It's interesting to see a somewhat young Aemon, especially as the wisdom and knowledge are still forming and will shine through. I like seeing how Jon will travel the North for quite a bit. It seems like he met with Wull, which I think will become very interesting if he gets to join the Feast within Umber's castle. Great job as always, and I can't wait to see what happens next.
