It’s actually crazy how great this story is. Your characterization of these characters are so great and don’t feel like one sides caricatures like many asoiaf fanfictions do. Like your Jon, Ned, Tywin, Robb, Tormund and so many others are all on point. Not to mention you improve characters that had very little time or characterization like Walder, Val, Howland, Duncan Liddle, the Children of the Forest, Styr, Dalla. Or gave characters great unseen arcs that I haven’t seen before like Melisandre, Tommen, Shireen, Dany, Mace, and Benjen. And your original characters with the likes of Magister Zephon “Jon Snow’s #1 hype man” Sarrios and Jarod “I am to old for this shit I should have stayed home” Snow you have not missed. Not to mention great story beats and arcs that I have never seen other writers in the fandom do. Such as instead of FAegon is FaJon which could eventually turn into a War between the Bastard Blackfyre and the Bastard Targaryen. Not to mention not only a war between Renly and Joffrey and not a rehashed war of the five kings but also of the Faith of the seven. Having the Red Priests joining the watch to fight their true enemy. Or whatever the hell Euron is cooking currently. You haven’t missed on anything you have added or changed. Everything has been great. It’s the reason why I made a patreon account because I just couldn’t wait any longer and needed those five extra chapters. But at the same time you totally ruined me reading most other asoiaf fanfictions because I compare them to this and almost all just don’t compare. I can’t wait to see what’s next, you have me at the edge of my figurative seat as I wait for your next update.
