2023-06-17 17:24:23 +0000 UTCOh shit! I realized something I didn’t before on this chapter. Salladhor Saan and Jon are headed to the same lake! Based on timing, I think Saan will get there first, so will probably already have his base set up. But honestly I’m not sure how this will play out. It could be something simple as Jon killing them all. Something more practical like Jon defeating them, and then forcing them into the fight against the others. Or something weirder like Jon being abducted over to Essos. Or something more long term like Jon helping them in exchange for help back (maybe a few thousand unsullied to help his fight?) Although idk how cool Jon and the Earth singers would be about cutting down a Weirwood to get slave soldiers. I find most likely being Jon conscripts them.

2023-06-16 03:33:19 +0000 UTCI’m loving getting to see Myrcella’s point of view, and how everyone is getting an update to what happened to Jon, excited to see more than just initial reactions! With the war being different, and very possibly a Stark/ Lannister alliance (unless Cersei fucks it out of spite), I wonder if Robb will ever read his wife into Jon’s letter. You’ve mentioned before that Jons plan isn’t going to work out right away, as he is mostly just running away from his family rather than have to deal with that. So I can’t help but think Jon will come back to join whatever war happens, with an army of wolves and dire wolves to help the north in battle… and I just love that idea. Haha.
