Is this OC Hermione replacement or fully newly created OC to be additional new friend that Harry does not have history with or knowledge of?

Diana is far from the only OC, just the one Harry gets introduced to first.

hmm so ... about the OC girl Dianna!!
not a bad idea but i found her character childish !
I hope she gets better cause now she is something like hermione and ron at first year and not the good way !!
yea i get she is only 11 but to chilidish and maybe to much part of the chapter for her POV !
overall I liked her but she needs work... especially when Harry has a mentality almost of a adult

That one kinda slipped away, good catch. I still find myself writing in the more rustic style of ASOIAF and it's hard to stop sometimes.

Harry has some growing up to do before he is not the shortest one. From what we know, Harry never really ate well, and was often punished by skipping meals and everything, thus the shortness. One month is far from enough to fix all of that. But now that he has regular food, and is inhaling it in large amounts, he will show steady growth.

While she is a muggle-born, she's not Hermione by a long shot. I don't want to spoil anything, so I'll just say: sit back and enjoy, you won't be disappointed!

I am a total sucker for these kinds of fics. Please update quickly!! :) I enjoy any sort of hard magic system where Harry starts to discover some of the more subtitlies that govern magic and that makes his power earned. However I am not sold on OCs. She seems like another Hermione? I am confused what role she serves in the story. Keep up the cool story!

Can’t remember if you addressed this earlier, but please don’t let Harry grow up and still be the smallest kid in his year.

„Skin the color of tar“ - Really? Are you trying to write it from the British 90s perspective or why do such a description?
