The aftermath is technically 48, I fucked it up when I decided not to number it. In hindsight, I will go back and fix that, I suppose. The first part of Epilogue is technically 49. I decided to space chapters apart and not post in bulk, there will be part two of the epilogue this Thursday (or the next one) depending on how many things I manage to write at the same time.

But, objectively speaking, Jon did do quite a lot of things that would earn him the title 'The Cruel'. The execution of the Bolton men-at-arms after they were captured and House Bolton was extinguished is one. Setting the kingsmoot and Aegon's army on fire is another one.
