They both paused as if in a stand-off, sharing a moment of motionless eye-contact as each waited for the other's next move.
Sabrina flexed her polished claws and took a soft step forward, Wildenstein took an unsteady step back.
"I know Trey wants the old Sabrina back... But I don't think that's what I want" She purred as she stepped closer again, "And I don't think that's what you want either"
She could feel the power she held in this moment, and the thrill was intoxicating. Despite his nervousness, Sabrina could sense, no, smell, his admiration.
Trey had been acting more and more like a stranger, looking at her as a freak. Yet, here was a man who gazed in awe, who saw the beauty in the beast.
