With nervous excitement, he tapped away at his laptop as the pair talked back and forth.
"Well Doc, is it purrmanent?" Sabrina motioned to herself, her tail flicking in amusement.
Wildenstein chuckled awkwardly at the cat-woman's pun before continuing in a slightly more serious tone,
"We should have a better idea of where we stand soon enough, but as you've probably gathered, this is somewhat unchartered territory we're in right now.
As you know the treatment was supposed to unlock the full healing power of the subconscious mind, and we've had mixed results with the trials so far, but none quite like yours. Would you mind if we took some photographs? This truly is quite remarkable. You said there was no pain, correct?"
"Nyaow.. Not quite. I said it felt amazin', but it did ache a lot until I just let it all out-.."
Sabrina's ear twitched and she beamed, flashing her fangs.
"Hey! Did you say I was remarkable? Remarkable AND Incredible, huh? Aww! Hey you should tell that to Trey. I dunno what's gotten into him today"
That wasn't quite what the Doctor had said, but he didn't correct the preening feline across his desk either.
It took some time, but gradually he relaxed enough to make fleeting eye contact. Those sharp pupils framed by gold and green seemed to pierce his soul every time they locked onto him. God, she was really was remarkable, he found himself thinking.
