A Mixed Bag of News

Things seemed to be going okay with the Totally Wild sequence, then I tried to do the final render and it's just too big to work.  I'm pretty confident that it's my regular RAM, not the VRAM that's causing the bottleneck but there's been a bunch of detective work, a fair bit of guess work and some scene optimization and I've still been unable to print it out at 1080p.

Very true but those have been simpler character set-ups and/or longer distance shots enabling me to scale down the texture and mesh resolution if needed.

I hate scaling down texture and mesh resolution.

I've done as much culling of unnecessary detail as possible, but don't want to have to regress the quality to progress the sequence. Y'know?
Plus, I planned on adding more so many more precariously high poly parts to this piece.

Err...    Yes, and it was! That is to say, it is.  Sorta.   Foolishly, I didn't account for the complex scenery, or the clothing, or the eyebrows, or the.. yeah, I fucked up.  I confess.  I sorry.



Whatchu gonna do bout it?

After publishing this apology, I will swiftly and promptly deliver a series of images that I hope live up to your expectations.  
Earlier, I'd asked what else you guys might like to see, so I had a bunch of suggestions to pick from.  I took the ones that stood out as popular and possible and got to work with the time I had left.
Thanks to your help, I plan to be able to be able to buy that RAM I (think and hope!) need to pick up where we left off.

Now, I better get on with providing some content, swift and prompt like.
