As was predicted, the effects of the process were mostly temporary, and Mia is now resembling something much more human. Thanks to Doctors Nelson and Ross, I have fitted her with a control collar, enabling me to not only keep her focused and totally loyal, but also to some extent, trigger her transformation as and when I choose. It really is a treat to watch her moods change at the push of a button. Unfortunately, the process has had some noticable impact on her most basic functions. Even while in human form, she displays overt feline characteristics and is now very little use as a capable assistant. The process definitely needs refinement before we try again.

Luckily I still have ways of making her useful.
