The barmaid eyes were caught by the long, curved nails that protruded from the end of her delicate fingertips as she lightly scraped and tapped upon the counter-top.
"Woah. Auditioning for 'Merica's got Talons?" She quipped with a chuckle. April cocked her head with curious confusion as the barmaid removed the sweet smelling plate and returned it back to the kitchen with a cheerful hum. Sated by the meal and distracted by her increasingly wandering mind, It took a moment for the penny to drop.
She lifted her hands for inspection and gasped under her breath..
