I find this is one of the pictures I keep returning to. I think it's a mix of many things that all just click here and it tells a story even as a standalone picture. The pose of Harley really captures her struggle with her clothing (or is it her clothing struggling against her?). You can almost feel her wincing through it. She was certainly dealt the tougher hand in that regard and I like how Ivy seems to recognize this and looks to comfort her ferally challenged companion with what seems to be a mix of lust and sympathy. Exquisite texture detail as well on the thick, stubbly fur on Harley's shins and devolving feet. You can visualize exactly what her own hand must be feeling as she grasps her leg.

Sounds good.

And I love how you described "aggressive detail". I was going for swollen, gristly and throbbing. Aggressive details.. Hmm. May have to use that one in some upcoming text.

You're right. It would. But, I'm a little obsessive over things like that. The green colouring is actually more than just a top coat of flat colour over the texture, but rather a simulation of ever so slightly translucent skin that absorbs and refracts light. For some shots, the difference would be very noticeable between something done in-render and something done in postwork. I think a quick photoshopping could work in this context though. But yeah, like you say, over complicated.

I love the hair on her feet and shin, and the aggressive detail of her clawed hands and feet. Spectacular as always.

I think you're over-complicating it. That would take like 1 or 2 minutes on Photoshop to fix. ^^

I'd like think that occasionally, it was due to artistic expression, however due to the way these models and textures are set up, I think you're right in that it's most often an oversight. It would actually take quite a bit more work than one would think to make such a change. Challenge accepted!

I haven't yet started on the follow-up page, but I had imagined it would be set a few short moments later, with one or both characters stretching, shedding more clothes and humanity.

I'll admit that I often see she-hulk pictures with the same oversight.

Thanks man. That's a good point there about the nipples. We're about halfway through the sequence so there's still time. "How was work today Solone?" "Ah, usual day in the office. Was trying to make some nipples green via the methods of subsurface scattering and transmission. Typical"

Nice work !
Although I would've thought that Poison Ivy, being who she is, would've had greener nipples (to match her skin).

Nice as ever. Worth the wait. So do you have any questions on what the next page's poses are? Or can you tell me what you have planned for her?
