Curse of the Cat Woman from Channel 6 - 7

She blinked the world into focus and brushed a stray lock of matted hair back behind an ear. Her damp, unkempt bun glistened in the streaks of morning sun and was an itching mess. Delicate fingers scratched at her scalp then chased the itch down her neck until it trailed off out of reach down her back.

"Eh? Okay, okaaay. I'm.. coming"

April's voice was tight and hoarse as it left her throat, almost a whisper. Clearing her rattling voicebox she spoke again, this time her voice deeper and more relaxed.

"Be there in a minute!"

She still sounded a little scratchy and spoke in a distracted daze.

Normally by this time, Ms O'Neil would have been up, dressed and halfway through her morning jog but today her limbs were heavy with lethargy, her head stuffed with cotton wool. Coffee was definitely a welcome prospect, even if she couldn't quite recall what her long time colleague Irma was doing in the apartment.

Exactly! A transformation into a savage beast is always more effective when you see the delicate, serene form it used to take. Thanks again for the compliment on the words. I used to experiment much more with the comic book layout but found it induced heavy procrastination, henceforth, I adopted a more straightforward cinematic style. The images are designed with a slideshow in mind. PS, I too am chomping at the bit

The Soloverse

Don't get me wrong, I'm chomping at the bit for the tf to begin, but this really is a gorgeous piece. April looks beautiful (if bewildered) and it gives the audience something to care about before things change. Side note? You story posts really are well-written. It heightens the experience and helps the dramatic build. If you combined the images into a comic book style format, it would work perfectly. Can't wait to see more!

Beautifully put. I nearly didn't use this shot as I felt it was perhaps too mundane, but I've always posited that a slower build-up gives greater context and more impact once the action gets going, be it TF or otherwise. With regards to transformations, I like to be as familiar with the "before" state as the after as I feel it adds to the immersion

The Soloverse

Love this. Such a perfectly normal scene. Still sexy, but completely and utterly mundane. Contrasts nicely with the tarted-up victims and extraordinary circumstances we often see.
