Fanart and Free Memberships

It has recently been brought to my attention that NSFW artwork can no longer be featured in posts at the free membership tier. Previously, Patreon allowed NSFW art to be set to Members Only, which included paid tiers, but also the free membership tier. That meant it wasn't visible to the public, but you could join as a free member and still access much of the content.

A recent policy change means that I can no longer post NSFW artwork that isn't locked behind a paywall. That means that from now on, I have no choice but to make all NSFW artwork inaccessible to free members through Patreon.

I apologize for any inconvenience, this is not my choice, it's required for me to remain in compliance with Patreon's rules.

I only had 16 posts at the free tier, and everything except for the recent species concept art pieces was fanart drops. In order to avoid any problems, I have temporarily locked all of these fanart posts behind the $1 tier until I can figure out a solution. This only impacts NSFW fanart, the SFW posts are untouched.

It was never my intention to monetize anyone's art, but it's the only thing I can do save for deleting them outright in a pinch. A few posts I may be able to modify to bring them into compliance, but it's looking like I may just have to delete the majority of them.

Fortunately, all of that content is safely archived on my website, and it will remain available there. Big thanks to my buddy SnowDrake for saving the day once again by hosting my site.

I was intending to post a huge fanart collection and a short story today before starting work on the next project, but I'm going to have to delay that until tomorrow and see if I can figure out what to do. I need to double check to make sure everything is in compliance and then see if I can come up with a solution for restoring as many of those posts as I can.
