Here's the second part of the Kee concept art, featuring anatomical nudity. As you can see on the cow especially, a great deal of care went into the shape and placement of the skin flaps. This is not artificial armor, but rather thick, collagen-infused skin. On the bull, protection was emphasized, as they engage in very physically demanding wrestling matches using their horns and brute strength. On the cow, we used the placement to give the impression of lingerie, with baked-in thigh highs and a kind of swimsuit look from the rear, exposing more sensitive skin where needed.
Below, you can see some of the design iterations that we went through. The shape and style of the horn and headdress was the feature that took us the most time to hone in on. We tried out a few different combinations of horns and skull caps before settling on something that we liked, refining the skin flap placement as we went.

We ended up choosing the pronged version for the bull, based quite closely on the extinct pachyderm Megacerops, and a single atrophied horn for the cow. The vibrant coloration came later, which was heavily inspired by birds like peacocks and cassowaries.
