XMH Concept Art WIP
Added 2022-02-05 07:09:24 +0000 UTCHere's a preview of some new concept art featuring the XMH, the X-Species Modular Handgun, to go along with the XMR sheet that we did recently. These are at the same scale as the rifles, and all of the parts are going to be interchangeable. I'm hoping that with a couple more projects like this, we can build up a really versatile collection that's going to allow us to do a lot of cool stuff. Like their larger cousins, they come in three sizes that are suitable for various different species.

That is actually an option, and if you check the second image included there, that one does feature a holographic sight as you describe. We're going to be doing several different scopes and options for them.

2022-02-06 02:33:43 +0000 UTCThe one suggestion I have with the XMH is that they feature a small red dot sight instead of 19th century pattern iron sights. Faster target acquisition in all light conditions (the electronics inside the red dot adjusting the dot/reticle’s brightness and even size/colour to suit the ambient light) and I have no idea if any or all of the Coalition species eyes work the same as humans do in terms of minimum eye relief, parallax and focal plane depth. Added bonus of current Coalition technology is that the red dot could be holographic in nature and contain a remaining round counter and battery charge display.
