Yes they have similar social structures, but this story is more an exploration of how their methods for climbing the ladder and dominating their pack members differ. On one hand the Equatorials use force and coercion to get their way, while the Polars use social maneuvering and persuasion.

2017-08-12 17:58:01 +0000 UTCProbably a wrong nitpick, but don't polars have a pack order too? Thinking of Outpost where there's a defined top and bottom to it certainly, so in theory railha shouldn't be averse (at least on an 'as a polar' level) to playing alpha or being subordinate?
