Very Disappointing Announcement: My Motivation Has Taken a Big Hit

I’ve just discovered that someone is stealing and re-uploading my Patreon-exclusive content. On a certain Discord server I’m part of, my illustrations without watermarks—meant only for Patreon—were shared without my permission. When I called them out, they had the nerve to say, “AI-generated art has no copyright.”

It’s true there might be some debate about whether purely random AI-generated work has copyright. However, I put clear effort and creativity into my art—like drawing breasts or penises by hand and incorporating photos of myself posing—so I’m absolutely certain my copyright applies to those parts. I strongly object to anyone claiming “there’s no copyright at all.”

I refuse to give in to these thieves, but I also can’t allow more illegal re-uploads. So I have no choice but to lower the quality of what I offer from now on. Here are the specific measures I’m taking:

• I will add a watermark to every piece I produce.

• When adding the watermark, the PNGINFO (prompt data) will be removed.

  • However, if I decide a piece is okay to make public, or if there’s a request to release it, I’ll upload it to Civitai later.

• Let me repeat: I do NOT allow anyone to re-upload my Patreon-exclusive content.

I’m truly sorry for everyone who was looking forward to my work, and I hope you understand my decision. Thank you for your patience and support.

とても残念なお知らせです。モチベーションが大幅に下がってしまいました。

Patreonで限定公開しているコンテンツを盗み、転載している人がいることが判明しました。私が参加しているとあるDiscordサーバーで、Patreonのみで公開しているウォーターマークなしのイラストが勝手に投稿されていたのです。その行為を注意したところ、「AIで生成した絵には著作権なんてない」と開き直られてしまいました。

AIがランダムに生成した作品に著作権があるかどうかは議論の余地があるかもしれません。しかし、私は作品をより魅力的にするために、おっぱいやペニスを手書きで追加したり、自分がポーズを取った写真を取り込むなど、明確に手間と創意工夫を加えています。こうした部分には、私自身の著作権が存在すると考えており、「著作権なんてない」という主張には断固反対します。

盗み行為に屈するつもりはありませんが、これ以上の不正転載を黙認するわけにもいかないため、やむを得ず今後は提供する作品の品質を落とすことにいたしました。具体的には、以下の対策を取ります。

• すべての制作物にウォーターマークを入れます。

• ウォーターマークを入れる過程でPNGINFO（プロンプト情報）は消去されます。

  • ただし、私が公開しても問題ないと判断した作品や、公開リクエストがあった作品については、後日Civitaiにアップロードいたします。

• 重ねて申し上げますが、Patreon限定コンテンツの転載は一切許可しておりません。
