2021-08-26 05:50:07 +0000 UTCI've had this on the list for a while, just haven't jumped into it. I'm thinking about trying it soon! Just tested LaunchBox on an Android phone and it's not bad, but limited to 100 games unless you pay $10 for a license (which I will probably do!).

Like what is better on Final Burn Alpha, or why would one want a dedicated CPS II or III emulator. Also there is a lot of interesting history on how arcade machines developed their own internal platforms tied to console generations. Maybe this history is something the low spec gamer might want to collaborate on.

2021-08-25 17:30:57 +0000 UTCLaunch Box now has Android support again. It's less beautiful than emulation station and the like, but it works easily to sync to a windows setup - which might be good for a multi-machine setup and library for different form factors. - console TV experience vs handheld.

I got an N switch not long back but modding it was the right pain in the neck! It has sat gathering dust since (but successfully modded!!)

2021-08-24 03:56:02 +0000 UTCWould love to see a proper guide on ROM management from you, explaining ROM sets, how to use ClrMAMEPro to verify ROMs and make custom sets. There just isn't a good and up-to-date one out there that I could find.

2021-08-24 03:34:29 +0000 UTCA dedicated setup for emulation on Android phone would be nice. I know there's a couple frontends to run it like Pegasus, but I've yet to see a good video approaching all the layers of getting it to work.
