Added new reward for the $20 tier
Added 2018-02-21 16:21:38 +0000 UTCI've been thinking about revamping it because it doesn't seem like it justifies it's existence.... so I had an idea that could be interesting.
As long as you run the idea by me first those of you who subscribe to this tier have my permission to use my characters in art/ commissions of your own!
Few minor caveats though.
- Permission is not indefinite and I still own my characters.
- Run any ideas you have by me first. Whether it be questionable content or ideas you have for any type of merch or commercial purposes I need to be in the loop on how my characters are being used.
- Allow me to post/ link to the finished work here.
This idea could backfire... it could be awesome... only one way to find out!
To those who consider my characters sacred... I get where you are coming from but I do not feel like this detracts from what I do. Considering the fan stuff I do of other characters and I would be a hypocrite if I thought what other people did would reflect negatively on me. What I do is in good spirits my only hope is that this is a worthwhile bonus.

I can only speak for myself but I chose the $20 tier not for the perks but because I really enjoy your art which in itself justifies the tier in my opinion. Not saying the perks aren't nice but it wasn't a deciding factor in my pledge.

2018-02-22 14:44:40 +0000 UTCI don't do Patreon anymore, but I figured it's worth saying that this feels weird to me as a tier reward. I've always seen getting commissions with another person's character as a sort of half-gift for them (naturally after making sure they're ok with it in the first place) and this sort of thing makes it feel like people would have to pay you money in order to give you a gift?

2018-02-21 18:15:05 +0000 UTCI personally don't like this, since it basically amounts to you saying the integrity of your characters has a price. I know you don't intend it that way, but I still feel uncomfortable with the idea. I guess we'll see how it pans out.
