Mik in Red

I wanted something cute and sundressy. And lewd. Non lewd is fine - I would love to make clean posters and stuff but for now I had this idea for a nice lil pic and I followed through on it. I originally planned a white sundress thing with one of those straw hats, specifically a kind with gaps in them that would shine through the shaded portion but during the flats I used this red and it got me thinking - I wonder how Mik would look in red?
Well... now I know!
I don't think I've ever drawn Mik in red before.
I wanted to do a small explanation about Mik's clothing choices anyway so I guess I'll take the chance to do it now.
Just in cast it wasn't obvious shitty hoodies/ tanks/ sweats are her sleepwear. It's not a lack of ideas/ style. It's more a comfort/ casual thing. It feels more honest and relatable than the more showy/ swimmy/ fetishy gear all the time - all of which has their place as well.
That said though I kinda sorta want to dress her up a bit more. I'm intentionally inconsistent with specific colors/ patterns/ presentation but it almost never involves mixing up the setting or outfits as a whole. It's not like I have a trendy fashion sense that needs expressing or that I have any statement I want to here. I just want to do it. Stockings/ sleeves are always going to be a main consideration but I would like to start exploring clothing/ setting a bit more than... well... not. Suits, dresses, and everything in between. Something with more intent behind it.
Not too lofty a goal to be sure - just something I wanted to mention.

I've drawn something similar in the tentacle folio but that was more an inspiration from Persona than the explicit schoolgirl outfit. I could do something more akin to this though, sure!

I love seeing the variety of outfits she prances around in, though I will say I have a huge soft spot for the "shitty hoodies/ tanks/ sweats", especially while she's sleeping or lazing around. I love that casual, relaxed air, even more so when it includes partial nudity. Minor critique: the base of her tail looks pretty narrow. I think it looks better when it's much thicker. It doesn't look particularly bad or anything here, just a bit off.
