Added 2023-05-09 05:49:56 +0000 UTCThe feelings of powerlessness from becoming a yinglet, and a female, hit Kassen hard. And so the lessons she got from Kattajak about how to use the new body for combat came as a great relief.
But Kass started feeling other things, too. Maybe it was the yinglets' more animalistic nature, the excitement from not feeling powerless, or maybe it was something inside Kass all along. But the adrenaline flooding her small body when she put her new skills to use, the dizzying aggressive excitement, seemed far stronger than anything she'd felt as a human.
It became almost... addicting.
And the more she eased into this mindset, the more she started noticing things about the Patriarch she hadn't seen before. The fluidity of his movements. The confidence in his walk. The singleminded focus on his face when he approached his prey.
Before long, the enjoyment of Kass' new life, and the enjoyment of Kattajak's company seemed to blend together, quieting Kass' internal discomfort over suddenly finding a male so interesting.
Previously, Kass would have mulled over the details of the thought day after day, but in this confident new life, Kass decided to just walk up to the Patriarch and share what she was thinking, without fear.
(She loves it when he calls her bitch; it was her idea in the first place.)
