About that last LAM vote, and others going forward!

Some types of votes, like the monthly sketch/pic votes, will almost always be determined by popular vote. But some other types of votes or polls will be more about info-gathering on my part, to get a clearer idea of the kinds of things people are interested in seeing.
This last "Should the foxxy TF also be a shortstack?" poll was a pretty close one; and the reason I put the poll up was to see if the idea was something the great majority of readers liked, or if there was a reasonable amount of division between the two choices. Since it was pretty evenly divided, that told me that there was definitely a lot of interest in the two ideas separately, explored fully on their own, rather than mashing the concepts together.
So anyway! Just so that there's no confusion about this sort of thing in the future, I'll be sure to make it pretty clear if a vote or poll is a hard popular-vote situation, or more of an info-gathering effort on my part. : D
