I clicked on the link to the last time we saw these two and from there I saw a reference to the Tumblr strip Beatriz Overseer and I read it all and it was very intriguing, especially the title character, and then it was abandoned suddenly in 2017! And I felt betrayed by time.

2020-07-30 04:16:23 +0000 UTCsubsonic = slower than sound. While maybe thats possible in scav world (and scav science would certainly find a way) thats not whats happening here. The implication is that humans cant hear the sound they make. Even if it was a sound slower than sound (which sounds like something Shegoroath would do) humans would hear it. If its inaudible to humans, using subsonic could obscure that fact.

Maybe the questions they're afraid of are more along the lines of, "Do you guys GROW more of those things when you get older? Or do you have some castes that labor underground we're not aware of?"
