Way to get your act together, Kass! I get that you have to walk hunched over and sway his tail and all. But... do you have to slaver? You don't really have to slaver, do you? Try to be graceful in the way you move your mid-body legs and hold your freakishly long neck and tail and STOP THAT TWITCHING.

I think the thing I love the most about this is just how annoyed he is with the eyewhiskers. Like, he's clearly annoyed with everything else, but he at least can put that to the side for a moment and actually think about what's going on. But then you have those goddamn eyewhiskers - the sheer rage cannot be contained in his small yinglet body.

I wonder if Ran could provide some sort of counterweights to allow Kass to resume the posture he desires. Might be worth seeing.

This was very well done. I strongly get the impression of a descent into helpless anger as Kass proceeds with the notes and begins to dwell on his situation. Also a good mix of thought, genuine annoyance, and prejudice. Here's hoping that eating enough oysters gives him super powers, or at least provides a vital nutrient that slows their dreadfully fast aging process.

I hope I am not picking at the character, but I wonder if the heavy tail would allow Yinglets to orient themselves in free-fall. I seem to remember some lizards use their tails that way. The Yinglet air force might eventually incorporate a paratrooper division. What the heck, why not?

I think Kass is pretty cool, maybe that's just me though. . . I think she's just not accepted her form enough to recognize how cool she can be, hell she probably doesn't even think of herself as a she right now. But just maybe, one day, she'll be comfortable enough with herself to accept what she is an take control with it, and over time her coolness will come out until she's a spear wielding badass just like all those watlets :V

That's 'cos our brains aren't tuned to it! Our brains are amazingly plastic and given time and a lack of normal 180° stimulus it would soon seem almost like second nature. Did you know, some physiologists did an experiment getting volunteers to wear glasses that inverted their vision. It took time, but eventually they adapted - and were almost totally thrown off when they removed them at the end!
