Added 2019-01-19 22:58:03 +0000 UTCThe exiles from an enclave don't necessarily put much distance between themselves and their old homes; they are just marked as unwelcome, and undeserving of any protection or assistance from the rest of the population.
These ones tend to be those that cause problems for the human population, so the previous Matriarch let the human population know that there wouldn't be any hurt feelings if they decided to do something about these troublemakers.
There are believed to be at least several dozen exiles in hiding throughout the city.

I think probably these tricks are in his normal box of tools, but his specific framing (It'll be great, I promise!) has been colored by yinglethood.

And her at once hostile and snarky talking at Brakka is like zhe trash-talk in many conflicts; to try to intimidate your adversary. And all of it is probably helped a bit by adrenaline, or zhe Yinglet equivalent. But was it enough to make a difference? Lets hope so.

And it's funny how the underlings put more value on their boss being tortured by a female than on his safety. Same for zhe abdominal aorta, as his blood pressure would immediately crash to zero. And same for zhe neural bundles. He may have a fighting chance! Maybe. Brakka's left eye is spilling out massive amounts of fluids, far far too much for tears. Zhat eye is now toast... ...Warm, buttery toast... mmmmmm... a perfect appetizer for zhe choke-menu! Brakka could still escape wizh his gang, but zhey have already begun zheir run wizh him down. And wizh Elim still standing. A small window of opportunity may still exist for Elim to stomp Brakka's legs, forcing his abandonment and enabling his apprehension and interrogation. But he cannot give chase or stop zheir flight. Unless somezhing else happens right now to stop it, Kass is now abducted. As for zhe boys, "Blue-Eyes" is probably zhe "mission keeper" sans Brakka, "Green" is probably zhe "strongman", "Mustard" or "Lip-Toozh", a pair of "dumb hands", and "Raspberry" or "Wonk-Eye", zheir foot-fetished, idiot fifth wheel, and *possibly* exploitable or trickable by Kass if a moment for escape should occur, and she still has her wits about her. And she now has somezhing else about her, she is finding her inner strengzh! And if she continues to "zenter herself" she may finally find and embrace her inner Yinglet. Zhe Spine Lizard seems to be having fun. But for Elim, Kass and everyone else, zhe "fun" has only just begun.

They can wrap their head around kidnapping an unaccompanied female for her own safety, but mating is so strictly controlled by the matriarch that I don't know if they have ever considered not having orders/permission. Except among the male yinglets with each other. Then I figure there's a pretty big dominance culture that includes assault.
