Griffney Von Berkenchestershire, Frat Boy(??)

Puberty is tough enough without it resulting in you (magically-retroactively) blossoming into a bright pink 4-foot tall gryphon girl. That's just the kinda thing that might result in you latching onto an outdated concept of noble superiority to mask your sudden avalanche of insecurities and the resulting identity crisis.

Or something.

Best outcome!

"Magic retroactive" is definitely a fecund idea. A little exciting, a little perverse. It's interesting that in this transformation even the retroactivity was progressive. First he's slacking on his lifting, then he's suffering from occasional breakouts, then he turned into a pink gryphon girl at puberty. The past is evolving! Oh, and dudette, you're not mauve -or- pink. You're totes lilac.

Thorin N. Tatge

Not the original I was expecting for a purple (pink?) gryphon

I disagree! The "refined" of "High Society" are the PEAK of silliness!

Matthew Vandiver

Yes it's good to see people bragging about the achievments and ranks of long deceased family members like they took a part to earn those. They are funny. Until you tell tell them that it's funny. Good to ear that you are getting better.

She would probably appreciate that, but prefer an adjective that sounds older and with a lot more unnecessary syllables

Val Salia

Yeah, I looked at the calendar, and it turns out that it's not 2004 anymore! When did that happen

Val Salia

In his/her mind he/she certainly did, at least!

Val Salia

Oh, she doesn't have any actual authority or titles, except for maybe "Annoying Scourge of the Local Starbucks"

Val Salia

Yeah, she's like, 4th generation American, but is one of those annoying types who really really latch on to a cultural identity they don't really have

This was me catching up on a previous month's Patreon sequence now that my arms are doing better! And most of those words are just gibberish attempts at making things sound "olde English," so yeah, I imagine that must've been tiring to translate! : D

Val Salia

Seriously, I had to stop myself from raising the pictures height just to jam in more dialogue!

Val Salia

Yeah, this one started out relatively simple but took on a lot of extra elements as the writing went on. Definitely gave me ideas for future installments!

Val Salia

Yeah, she was a lot of fun to draw, and the personality was a lot of fun to write for.

Val Salia

Neither does anyone involved in this scenario, really!

Val Salia

THERE IS NOTHING SILLY ABOUT THIS LADY SHE IS THE VERY PEAK OF REFINEMENT

Val Salia

SO much better. Turns out, most of my problems were caused by some pretty bad nerve pinching up around my shoulders; it's going to take a while for things to fully heal, but since I've narrowed down the problem area, I can work a lot longer without inflaming my nerves by taking frequent small breaks and doing stretches that target the problem area. It might not SOUND like a huge amount of progress, but it really, reeeeeeally is. : D

Val Salia

so cool

Now in glorious PNG-vision!

Great work. I love the progression and ending. I think he moved up in the world. ^_^

Aww, how adorable! I want to ingratiate myself as her sycophantic Machiavellian advisor, then use her as a puppet to wage war on rival aristocrats.

"I'm sickened, but curious". Great drawing as always. Also with the level of terribly British she is showing, I expect her to be sitting down with the queen for a spot of tea.

As a non-native english speaker, reading her sentences gave me a stroke. Very good job. :-) Was it a monthly sketch or a paid comission? If the last, I hope the guy will order more.

You were not kidding about all the dialogue on this one! This was hilarious and the art looks great! Can't wait for whats next :D

This... is the weirdest premise you've drawn yet! Not complaining, though. You seem to like taking on multiple challenges at once.

Thorin N. Tatge

I want to see more of this delightful young lady.

Vodyanoi

I have no idea what's going on. But it's 👍

"Awlright, stop that, stop that! It's TOO silly!" - Graham Chapman I love it!

Matthew Vandiver

Cute! Very fun process. Glad to see you getting back into the swing of things! Wrist/other joints doing better?
