0.5.0 WIP Set #1

Hello my MODIFIERS!!

I was finally able to finish all the code updates for version 0.5.0 (Special event logic, VA dialogue system, Store and Inventory, Minigame, etc), and this week I've finally started making the actual sexy art.

So in the meantime, let me share some of the new stuff I've implemented so far,

Store (pic 2)

Let's begin with the store!
As mentioned in my previous post, it will be unlocked once the player has completed 2 paths.
It took a lot more work to implement a store and inventory system than I originally thought, but it turned out pretty good.
As always, I tried to make it as much "future proof" as I can, so that adding new items to the store will be easy later on.

It was also fun to make the logo out of those old WordArt generators to give it that retro feel.

Minigame (pic 3)

For the minigame, I wanted to replicate the gameplay of those old flash games where you'd follow a path with the mouse, and in the end be jumpscared (this one will have no jumpscare at the end, don't worry).

I think it turned out pretty fun and is a nice change of pace for the existing minigames, since this one doesn't have any time limit so it's a lot more calmer.

So as I mentioned before, this one will be a special event, and not a normal MODIFICATION.

And because it is halloween themed, I tried to go all out on the spooky vibes.
I'm still not great at making 3D renders, but I think these ones came out pretty good.

Hopefully next week I'll have some sexy art to showcase.
But until then, I'll go back to the dungeon to draw some fangs!!
